I purchased a Columbia WL9843 Bugaboo III Fleece jacket (colour code 629 / pink) from the Columbia store in Maltepe Park Shopping Mall on 31 March 2025. Although I wore the jacket only 3–4 times, all the Velcro fasteners started sticking to the fabric, irritating it and causing pilling, which is not what I expect from a product in this price range and from this brand. Because the issue appeared in such a short time, I took the jacket back to the Columbia store in Maltepe Park on 8 February 2026, while the return/exchange period had still not expired. After approximately 15 days, I was informed that the product was considered fault-free and that no return or exchange would be made. I also saw that there are similar complaints about the same product on online shopping sites, which further strengthens my opinion that the problem is related to the product’s quality and design. I do not find it acceptable that a jacket deteriorates after just a few wears and that this situation is considered normal. I kindly request that my issue be reconsidered and that my jacket be either exchanged for a different model of my choice or that a full refund be provided.
