I bought a Columbia jacket on 28/02/2025, thinking I was investing in a high-quality product backed by a one-year warranty. But after wearing it for just three days, the back of the jacket started pilling, and I noticed tiny feathers coming loose. When I looked more closely, I saw a small hole forming—about the size of a pinhead.

I returned to the store on 04/03/2025, expecting support under the warranty. The staff accepted the jacket for inspection, but on 18/03/2025 I was shocked to hear that my request for a replacement had been denied. What’s the point of offering a one-year warranty if it doesn’t cover visible defects after just three days of use?

Even more frustrating was the change in attitude from the store staff. The same people who were all smiles while selling the product couldn’t care less when it came to after-sales service. I felt dismissed and completely unsupported.

The issue was resolved by applying to the Consumer Arbitration Committee and receiving a refund for the product. Don't bother, you can directly apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committee.
