On February 7, 2025, I made a purchase at a Columbia store using my credit card. After the first transaction, the cashier claimed that the payment was not approved, even though I could see the charge on my bank statement. Despite my proof, they insisted on charging me again, saying the first payment would automatically be reversed.
After the second payment went through, they suddenly claimed neither payment was showing on their system. The accounting department was contacted and confirmed that I had been charged twice. However, they still did not issue a refund on the spot. Instead, they told me, "You’ll receive your money back by Monday."
Waiting days for a refund of my own money is completely unacceptable. They also promised to call me on Monday, but no one ever did. When I returned to the store, their attitude made it clear they had forgotten about my issue. Again, they said, "We’ll call you tomorrow," but no call ever came. Now, they’re not even answering the store phone.
I have been severely inconvenienced and still have no refund. Columbia, fix this immediately—I want my money back now!
