I recently purchased Collagen Forte Premium 5 Type, forest berry flavor from a Trendyol store through a “buy 3, pay for 2” promotion. At first, I mixed it in a black cup so I didn’t notice anything unusual. But once I started drinking it in a clear glass, I realized that the product has a strange dark blue-purple color and an extremely sweet taste, which made me question its contents.
Along with the collagen, the seller included a free magnesium supplement. Since I normally use magnesium, I decided to try it, but every time I did, I experienced chest tightness and pain. I immediately stopped using it.
I reached out to the store to ask what ingredient gives the collagen such an unnatural blue color. Instead of providing a clear answer, they gave me contradictory explanations. When I asked directly if they used food coloring, my comments and questions were blocked. The only response I eventually received was, “No, there is no food coloring.” But when I pressed further, asking “Then what causes the blue color?”, they completely ignored me.
This is a serious health concern. The official ingredient list does not mention anything that could give the product such a color. The lack of transparency and failure to respond responsibly raises major safety and trust issues. I have stopped using the product entirely and will escalate this matter to the Turkish Ministry of Health if necessary.
I expect the company to provide a full explanation and accountability. Playing with people’s health in this way is absolutely unacceptable.
