Starbucks Food Hygiene Issue — Cheese Simit Had Suspicious Yellow-Brown Filling
On Sunday, September 28, I purchased a cheese simit from the Starbucks Carousel branch in Bakırköy. When I opened it, I found a yellow-brown, solid substance of unknown origin inside. Previously, I had also bought a pastry from the same branch, and it contained a similar strange yellow-brown material. The first time, I overlooked it, but since this has happened a second time, I am now very concerned for my health and honestly frightened.
After purchasing the items, I tried to contact customer service, but it was closed today, so I have not yet been able to speak with a representative. The receipts for my purchases are available in the app, and I paid around ₺200 in total. I am requesting a clear explanation of what this substance is and that the necessary inspection be carried out. I urgently expect a statement on whether this poses a risk to our health.
