I Lost My Clinique Birthday Discount Code Even Though I Didn’t Use It

Clinique sent me a birthday promo code offering 35% off, which I was excited to use. I placed an order using the discount but quickly realized I had forgotten to include a few items. I immediately canceled the order with the intention of reordering everything together. However, when I went to place my new order the next day, the birthday discount code no longer worked.

I contacted customer service, but they told me the discount could only be used once and that my code had already been redeemed. But I didn’t benefit from it—I canceled the order before it was processed, so I never actually used the discount. I don’t understand how it’s fair to mark it as used when I received nothing in return.

This birthday reward was supposed to be a gesture of appreciation, but instead, it’s left me feeling frustrated and dismissed. I kindly request that Clinique reinstate my birthday discount so I can place the order I originally intended. It’s a small gesture that would go a long way in maintaining customer satisfaction.
