Clinique Lowered the Price Twice After My Purchase and Won’t Issue Refund

On November 23, I purchased the Clinique Moisture Surge Megastars set from Clinique’s official website for $43, discounted from $53. However, shortly after placing my order—before the product was even shipped—the price dropped again to $32. This is clearly a misleading and trust-damaging pricing practice.
I immediately called customer service and explained that the product had been discounted repeatedly, that I no longer wished to receive it under these circumstances, and that I wanted the order canceled. Despite this, I was told that the order had already been shipped and could not be canceled through the system, and that I should simply refuse delivery so it would be returned. I followed their instructions exactly and ensured the package was not accepted.
Even though I complied with all directions, the $43 for my order 6941050689 has still not been refunded. I have neither the product nor my money—resulting in clear customer inconvenience and a loss of trust. It is unacceptable to attract customers with discounts and then delay or avoid issuing refunds.
This experience has seriously damaged my confidence in the brand. I request that my payment be refunded immediately, in full, to the original payment method, and that Clinique provide an explanation regarding these misleading promotional and refund practices.
