Cleanup App Allegedly Uses Stored Card Data to Charge Users

On January 15, 2026, I installed an app called “Cleanup: Clean Storage Space” from the App Store on my iPhone in order to try the free trial. To access the free trial, I only tapped twice, after which the app was installed. At no point was I asked to approve a payment, enter card details, provide a Visa number, or enter a security code.

Despite this, according to the emails I received, two separate charges were made to my TEB Bank credit card ending in 6691—first approximately $8 on January 15, 2026, and then approximately $10 on January 17, 2026. Even though I did not actively use the app, I do not accept that the card information saved in my Google One storage was used without my authorization, and that payments were taken without any clear disclosure, approval screen, or security verification.

I am requesting that these transactions be urgently investigated, that the full amounts of $8 and $10 charged to my card be refunded, and that I be provided with a written explanation detailing how these unauthorized charges occurred. I also request to be informed of the authorized department or contact person responsible for handling this matter.
