I had been enjoying using the Claude AI service for some time, and as a solution to usage limits, I started purchasing additional usage credits. On April 2, 2026, around 10:30 PM, I made three separate purchases of $5 each through the system. The interface also showed three attempts for $5 transactions.
However, when I later checked my İş Bankası credit card activity, I noticed that instead of three $5 charges, a total of four $5 charges and an additional two $15 charges had been processed. The transaction timestamps on my bank statement show April 2, 2026, around 7:56 PM, and these amounts are currently listed as charged and pending on my credit card. I only authorized three $5 payments through the system. I did not request or approve any $15 purchases, nor did I approve the extra $5 charge.
Since I could not find a direct support or contact channel on Claude’s side, I have not been able to reach out. I have also not yet contacted İş Bankası regarding this issue. I request that the two $15 charges and the extra $5 charge, which I believe were processed incorrectly, be canceled. I also ask that any amounts charged beyond the three legitimate $5 purchases be fully refunded. I kindly request that these transactions be investigated, any duplicate or erroneous charges be corrected, and that I be provided with a clear explanation.
