Agoda Failed to Respond After Unauthorized Credit Card Charge

On December 14, 2025, at 10:30:28 p.m., a transaction in the amount of $1,982 USD was charged to my İş Bank credit card with the description “agoda.com doubletree,” without my knowledge or authorization. I do not have an Agoda account, nor do I have any hotel bookings or reservations on Agoda, which means this transaction was completely unauthorized.

As soon as I noticed the charge, I contacted my bank and had my credit card canceled. I then emailed a*******@agoda.com**, requesting that this transaction be canceled and that the details be shared with me. However, I have not received any response so far.

I request that this unauthorized, high-value transaction be thoroughly investigated, that any reservation created as a result of this charge be canceled if one exists, and that the full amount charged to my card be refunded.
