Unauthorized ClarityCheck Subscription Charge Of 29.99 EUR

I am writing regarding an unauthorized charge of 29.99 EUR taken by ClarityCheck from the credit card of David B*** on 10 June 2026, following what appears to have been a hidden and misleading subscription mechanism on your own website. As far as we understand, he simply checked a number on your site and there was a pre‑selected or unclear option that automatically started a free trial of 7–10 days, which then turned into a paid subscription without explicit, informed consent. This 29.99 EUR debit is the first and only charge from ClarityCheck that has appeared on this card. As soon as we noticed the payment today, we immediately contacted your customer service and clearly requested a refund, but the reply was that you cannot reimburse this amount. We consider this refusal to refund, in the context of a hidden subscription and immediate same‑day objection, to be contrary to EU consumer protection rules on online services and the 14‑day right of withdrawal. In light of the above, we request the immediate cancellation of any subscription linked to this card and the full refund of the 29.99 EUR charged on 10 June 2026. We also ask that you ensure no further debits are made to this card without explicit, clear and informed consent.
