I purchased a brand-new Chery Tiggo 7 Pro in March 2024, and within less than a year, the chrome parts started rusting. When I requested a replacement under warranty, I was told it wouldn’t be covered.
Instead of taking responsibility, the authorized service blames the weather conditions in my region. Çanakkale Aydoğan Chery Service says the rust is due to environmental factors, but if that’s the case, why don’t European cars in the same area have this issue? Clearly, the materials used in Chery vehicles are subpar.
