I accessed the website Chamspy.com by clicking on an advertisement I came across while browsing the internet and carried out a transaction thinking it was a gaming website. However, I later realized that the site is not a gaming platform and actually offers a completely different service. During this process, I unknowingly and unintentionally created a membership.
Within a short period of time, as of today, I noticed that $73 and $68 were charged to my card linked to my Garanti Bank account, totaling $141. I also encountered a statement indicating that charges would be made on a recurring monthly basis. I did not knowingly or willingly approve these payments, and I was never clearly informed about any membership or subscription fees.
I tried to contact the site to cancel my membership and request a refund, but the system did not allow it, and I could not find any proper or reliable communication channel. I would like to state that both this involuntary membership and the charges made to my card have caused me serious financial and emotional distress.
I request that my unintentionally created membership on Chamspy.com be immediately canceled, that the total amount of $141 charged to my Garanti Bank card be fully refunded, and that all recurring charges be completely stopped.
