I used the Chamspy app for a one-time phone number lookup. Before completing the transaction, I was only shown a fee of $3, so I approved it, and there was no notice that I was creating any membership or subscription. Despite this, on December 13, 2025, an amount of $50 was charged to my Paraf Halkbank credit card without my knowledge or consent under the name of a “membership/subscription.”
I reported the situation through Chamspy’s help center on their own website, clearly stating that I did not create any membership, that I was charged a fee nonetheless, and that I wanted both the membership canceled and the charged amount refunded. Even so, my issue has not been resolved, and I am also concerned that this may be a recurring monthly subscription charge.
I request that the $50 charge under this unauthorized and undisclosed subscription be immediately reversed, that the full amount be refunded to my card, and that any membership or subscription opened in my name be completely terminated. I also want Chamspy to review this billing system, which presents itself as a one-time use but unknowingly enrolls users into a subscription.
