Cettire Issued a Refund Then Relisted My Designer Shoes at a Higher Price
For $300, I purchased a pair of designer shoes from Cettire during Black Friday sales. I got an email a week later saying the item was out of stock and they sent a refund together with a 10% discount code. eager to have a like pair, I bought the identical shoes in a different colour and a half size smaller using the voucher, paying $350. Surprisingly, the original shoes showed up on Cettire's website soon after my second buy, now advertised at $370. This series of events confused and annoyed me since it seemed like a strategy to force consumers into higher expenditure. I feel misled by Cettire's approach; their price policies and inventory control seem deceptive.
