CeraVe Acne Foaming Cleanser Burned and Damaged My Face

About a week ago, I bought the CeraVe Foaming Cleanser for acne-prone skin, expecting gentle care and effectiveness. Instead, I experienced a reaction that left my skin burning, stinging, and wounded. Painful, raw patches started appearing on my face, somewhere between a rash and a chemical burn. I couldn’t even apply moisturizer without a sharp stinging sensation.
This reaction seriously affected me, especially since I’m very self-conscious about my skin. The emotional toll of seeing these marks on my face has been just as difficult as the physical pain. Initially, I thought it was just my skin acting up, but after reading similar complaints online, I realized this wasn’t an isolated issue.
If your dermatologist hasn’t specifically recommended this product, I strongly advise against using it. I bought CeraVe trusting the brand's reputation, but this experience has left me deeply disappointed and concerned. I urge CeraVe to review the formula and take responsibility for the skin damage users are experiencing.
