I rented a car from Carwiz, expecting the usual 100€ deposit, but they took 500€ instead. Now, it has been three weeks, and they still haven’t refunded my deposit.
Every Friday, they tell me the refund will be processed next Friday, but nothing ever happens. This is beyond frustrating—they are deliberately delaying my money, and at this point, I don’t believe they will ever return it.
To make things worse, even though I returned the car, they are still charging my card for HGS toll fees! I have no idea how many other people they’ve scammed like this, but I strongly warn everyone to stay away from Carwiz.
