Disappointed with Service at Cartier Boutique in Bodrum – Refused Credit Card Use

Today, I visited the Cartier boutique at the Mandarin Hotel in Bodrum to purchase a watch I had reserved through customer service. Upon arrival, I was treated poorly by the staff, who rudely informed me that I couldn’t use my spouse’s credit card—even though we’ve used this card worldwide without issues. My spouse was available by phone to verify any details, but the staff refused to cooperate, effectively ruining my birthday. Although the sales manager later said I could proceed with the transaction after a lengthy process, my trust in Cartier has been shattered. This restriction should have been communicated by customer service in advance, as I’ve never encountered such a policy before. I feel fortunate I didn’t go through with the purchase, as I can only imagine the further problems I might have faced.
