Disappointed with Cartier Istanbul Airport Store Service – Unhelpful Staff
During previous flights, my daughter purchased a bracelet from the Cartier store at Istanbul Airport. An employee, Mr. E**, provided outstanding service, even giving us replacement strings from the stockroom and advising we could get the strings changed at any Cartier location. He went above and beyond, even arranging a bag purchase for us from TAV’s Bulgaria branch.
Today, I returned to the same store to replace my daughter’s bracelet string and buy a ring for myself. To my surprise, they refused to replace the string, directly contradicting Mr. E**’s assurances. The store manager, also named Mr. E**, showed none of the customer care I previously experienced. This treatment was unexpected, especially from a brand like Cartier, where we shop to lift our spirits, not worsen them. I request Cartier and TAV management to assess the behavior of their staff. This experience was frustrating, and I expect an explanation for the disappointing service we received.
