Requesting Full Refund From Carjet for Wrong Vehicle and Poor Service

On September 1, 2025, at 8:00 PM, I rented a Dacia Duster through Carjet, provided by Hit Rentacar in İzmir. After waiting for nearly an hour, a staff member arrived and took us to the Hit Rentacar office, where they tried to give me a much smaller, lower-class vehicle instead of the Dacia Duster I had booked. Since our luggage wouldn’t fit, I had no choice but to decline the car. I then had to return to the airport and rent another vehicle from a different company.

Through Carjet, I had paid €158 in advance (Reservation No: 184405041) and requested a refund after the incident. However, I was told I needed to call a phone number in Spain, which wasn’t possible for me as I don’t speak Spanish. Both Carjet and Hit Rentacar have been nearly impossible to reach, with no proper customer support or email communication available.

This entire experience has been extremely frustrating, and I am requesting a full refund of the €158 prepayment for a service that was never delivered as promised. I expect Carjet to take responsibility for the rental partners they work with and resolve this issue immediately.
