Carjet Leaves My Family Stranded at Midnight With No Car
Before traveling from Germany to Turkey, I rented a car through Carjet to pick up at Sabiha Gökçen Airport, and I paid the deposit in advance. Our reservation number was CJT-205205302, for a vehicle we were supposed to pick up at 10:00 PM on May 22.
After our flight, late at night, we went to the airport to pick up the vehicle with our two young children. The Carjet staff kept telling us the car was "on its way" and made us wait for about 1.5 hours, but in the end, they told us — without giving any reason — that there was no vehicle available and that they couldn't complete the handover. Around 1:00 AM, we were left stranded with two small children, and we were forced to rent a car from a different company instead, at a much higher price.
Even though time has passed since this ordeal, the deposit we paid in advance still hasn't been refunded to me. Given the serious hardship our family went through, as well as our financial losses, I'm requesting that the deposit I paid be refunded to me immediately.
