Calm Keeps Charging Me Every Year Despite Canceling My Subscription
Based on a stellar recommendation from a close friend who found it useful for anxiety, I signed up for Calm. With its meditations and sleep stories, it first looked encouraging. But a few months later I canceled as I felt the cost was not justified. The horror began the next year when I was charged once more even though I had terminated my subscription. I repeatedly called Calm's support crew but got no answer. Every year since then, the same charge shows up. I had to argue it with my credit card company, who takes it off following some investigation. Calm never tries to settle the disagreement or notes it. Such kind of behavior is quite improper and quite unprofessional. I wish I never signed up.
