I ordered a medium pistachio latte at Caffè Nero, but due to a misunderstanding, they gave me a plain latte instead. When I politely asked for it to be corrected and even offered to pay the price difference, three staff members responded half-heartedly, saying, “You ordered a medium latte,” and followed it with, “Wait, we’ll prepare it.”
After waiting five minutes, I asked again—only to be told they forgot to make the corrected drink. That was the final straw. I walked out without drinking anything, despite being completely in the right.
It’s disappointing to see staff who are not only indifferent but also respond with a mocking attitude, saying things like “Oops, we forgot.” For a brand like Caffè Nero, such service is unacceptable.
I kindly request that you supervise and retrain your team. A simple drink order shouldn’t turn into a frustrating experience that drives paying customers away.
