Burberry Goddess Perfume Smells Sour After 7 Months of Use
On February 4, 2025, I purchased a Burberry Goddess Eau de Parfum 100ml from the Boyner store in Hatay/İskenderun. Although I have stored the perfume properly and used it regularly, today when I applied it, I noticed an unpleasant sour and metallic smell. The fragrance has completely changed from the original Burberry Goddess scent. I have only been using the product for 7 months, and I am very surprised that it has gone bad in such a short time. I believe this may be due to a production defect or an issue with storage.
I request that the product be inspected and that the refund or replacement process be initiated. I also emailed customer service about this issue but have not yet received a response. I paid ₺7,000 for this perfume just 7 months ago, and I want my grievance resolved.

Although Boyner's own test form clearly states 'a metallic and sour smell was noticed despite being stored under proper conditions,' the company rejected my request for an exchange or refund. In this case, I believe a defective or expired product was sold. As a consumer, I request a refund or exchange from Boyner to resolve my grievance. If I receive another negative response, I will apply to the Consumer Arbitration Board.
