On August 11, ₺60,000 was withdrawn from our İş Bank account without our knowledge or consent for a transaction linked to Booking.com. We never authorized this payment, and it was a complete surprise when we saw the deduction. I immediately emailed Booking.com to report the issue, but I have yet to receive any response.
This is a serious breach of trust, and I have since seen that many other people have reported similar unauthorized charges. For such a large amount, it is unacceptable that this could happen so easily and that there has been no urgent follow-up from the company.
I request that Booking.com investigate this matter immediately, return the full amount to my account, and explain how such an incident could occur. I expect a prompt resolution to avoid further financial and reputational harm.
