When I traveled to Montenegro in December, the hotel informed me that payment through Booking.com had not been received, even though my bank statement clearly showed the charge. As a result, I had no choice but to pay the hotel again out of pocket.
Despite submitting proof and requesting a refund, I still have not received my money back. This exact issue also happened last year during a trip to Lesbos, but at that time, Booking.com refunded the amount. Unfortunately, this time, they are ignoring my case, and I am left to cover the double payment on my own.
I demand that Booking.com immediately refund the duplicate hotel payment and properly address this recurring problem. Customers should not have to chase refunds for errors they didn’t cause!
