I Canceled My Booking Without Prepayment, Yet Booking.com Charged $324

I made a reservation on Booking.com with no prepayment required and canceled it before the free cancellation deadline. Despite this, they charged $324 from my card. I have contacted them multiple times over 17 days, but my issue remains unresolved. They keep sending automated replies saying “wait 48 hours” or “72 hours,” but the refund never arrives. It’s frustrating and unacceptable to be charged for a trip I never took and to be ignored by customer service for so long. I demand Booking.com refund my money immediately and stop giving empty promises. This treatment is unfair and damaging to customers who rely on their service.
