Booking.com Security Breach - My Card Was Charged €90 for Fake Hotel
I am absolutely furious with Booking.com! Today, around 2:04 PM, I discovered a €90 charge from "bkg Hotel at Booking.com at Amsterdam" on my Yapı Kredi credit card statement. I even received an SMS about it on June 17th. I made no such expenditure. I've never traveled to Amsterdam, nor have I initiated any such booking. Crucially, there's no reservation record of this transaction in my Booking.com account.
I have not shared my card details with anyone, nor have I lost my card. This transaction is absolutely not mine. I demand the immediate cancellation of this fraudulent transaction and full compensation for my loss!
This charge is completely invisible on Booking.com's platform, and I've already filed a dispute with my bank. How can Booking.com have such a massive security flaw? So many people are complaining about similar issues, and nothing gets resolved. I cannot reach Booking.com customer service at all. I expect Booking.com to resolve this problem for me now.
