I booked a hotel in the center of Rome, but upon arrival, I discovered that such a hotel didn't exist. When I asked local shopkeepers about the hotel, I got the response, "You're not the first." Searching for the hotel based on the addresses on Google and Booking.com took us about two hours. Thankfully, Booking.com assured me they would cover the cost and advised me to find a new hotel. However, neither they nor I could find any available hotels in the city center. The representative I spoke to, Mr. O****, found a place far away, but I insisted on something closer. He casually replied, "It doesn't matter, you find one, money isn't important." Afterward, my wife and I spent an hour calling all hotels for availability. Mr. O**** was unresponsive. Eventually, we found a place, but by then, he said, "My shift's over, you pay, we'll reimburse you." So, I booked the hotel and paid. Today, when I called to inquire about the refund, they said they would only reimburse a maximum of 236 euros. I spent a total of four hours on hold over two days, and my vacation was already ruined. I used to book all my vacations with this company, but I'm reconsidering that now.
