Booking.com Refund Not Issued After Free Cancellation at Copenhagen Hostel
On August 22, 2025, I canceled my Booking.com reservation at Copenhagen Downtown Hostel (Reservation No: 5349****53) before the free cancellation deadline. Despite this, 720 DKK (about ₺4,747 at the time) was charged to my registered card, and the refund has not been processed.
To follow up on the refund, I contacted customer service multiple times by both email and phone. However, I never received any reply to my emails. On the phone, I waited a long time but couldn’t reach a Turkish representative. When I spoke with an English representative, the call quality was very poor, and the call was disconnected without any solution being offered. So far, I have received no assistance, and my issue remains unresolved.
The system still clearly shows my reservation as covered by free cancellation, with the status marked as “expected refund.” I have now been waiting for my money for nearly a month. I demand that the refund be processed to my account as soon as possible.
