I am absolutely furious with Booking.com for an unauthorized charge to my İş Bankası credit card! I made a reservation for June 20-27, and the terms clearly stated that no amount should be charged until the end of June 17. Furthermore, if I didn't show up, I was only supposed to be charged £125.

However, on the morning of June 16, 2025, my card was charged the full £710 by Booking.com! I immediately got a notification from İş Bankası. When I tried to report this unauthorized transaction through the method they suggested in the message, I received a frustrating reply stating that my request couldn't be processed due to "technical reasons" and to try again later.

I then canceled the reservation on Booking.com, and it showed a message saying a refund would be processed within 7-12 days. But honestly, after this, I have zero faith. The most infuriating part is that I cannot reach Booking.com customer service at all. It's impossible to get a hold of a real person to discuss this huge problem. It's incredibly stressful and unacceptable that my money was taken without authorization, and now I'm stuck in limbo with no way to contact anyone for help. Booking.com, you need to fix this immediately and refund my £710! This is a serious breach of trust and a terrible customer experience.

Hello, I experienced a similar problem. The number provided for contact does not work. I found a topic on Howtowiki about how to reach Booking.com and sent an email in English explaining my situation to the email address there - [email protected]. I received a reply to my email address confirming that my email was received, and the next day the money was refunded to my credit card. However, there is a small difference between the amount paid and the amount refunded. I think this is due to the exchange rate difference. Good luck to everyone.
