On June 10, 2025 at 11:00 PM, my credit card was charged $618 by BKG*Hotel at Booking.C without my authorization. I did not receive any verification code, no OTP, no email, and gave no consent for this transaction. The charge appeared suddenly and is still pending as a pre-authorization on my account.
I immediately contacted my bank to report the unauthorized charge, and they had to cancel my card to prevent further issues. However, I cannot get in touch with Booking.com in any way. There is no reachable customer support number, no live chat, and no effective way to raise this issue on their platform.
This situation is deeply alarming. I never made or confirmed any booking for that date or amount. I need this unauthorized charge reversed immediately and a proper investigation into how my card was used without my consent.
I’m sharing my experience here to warn others—always check your bank statement carefully if you’ve used Booking.com. If anyone has gone through this process and successfully resolved it, please share your advice. And to Booking.com: this charge must be refunded right away. Ignoring customers in serious situations like this is unacceptable.
