In my apartment located in Floranka Residence in Germir Neighborhood, Kayseri, I am experiencing a similar problem with two different Bocchi toilet models. I took possession of my apartment as the first occupant in August 2021, and all the bathroom fixtures were installed as Bocchi brand products.
The toilet seats on both Bocchi toilets cracked at the same spot within a short period of time, even though they were used under normal and careful conditions. In addition, the hinges and soft-close dampers on the lids have not been working properly since around 2022, and the soft-closing feature no longer functions. When the first crack occurred in 2022, one of the lids was replaced by the construction company. However, the same issue occurred again in the exact same area, with new cracks appearing in 2024 and 2025. The fact that the same model lids keep breaking at the same point raises serious concerns about the durability and material quality of the product.
The model details are as follows: 1166-001-0128 Glossy White toilet seat, and another 1166-001-0128 model toilet seat whose color I do not know. Because both products show the same defects, I believe this is a product-related issue rather than user error. Since the products were installed by the construction company, I do not have a separate warranty certificate. However, it is clear that the toilets are Bocchi brand products and have been used only by me since the day the apartment was delivered.
Even though I contacted Bocchi by email regarding this issue, I have not received any response. Bocchi is generally known as a brand preferred for its durability and quality, and I did not expect such fragile performance that causes inconvenience for users. To resolve the issue I have experienced, I request that both toilet seats be evaluated under warranty and replaced free of charge, and that I receive a written response. Along with this complaint, I will also attach photos clearly showing the cracked areas and the hinge and damper malfunctions for your review.
