BMW 116i Engine Overheated Without Warning

On the road, while I was driving my 2014 BMW 525, it suddenly stopped and locked itself, with no warning. To get it to the service center, I had to call a tow truck. The mechanics thought at first that it was an electrical problem, but they called the next day to say that it might be an engine problem. How could a well-known brand like BMW's engine lock up without any warning? My car only has 129,000 miles on it, and I have always made sure to get it serviced on time. This sudden and dangerous event has made me angry and worried about how reliable my BMW is. I never thought that my well-kept car would have such a big problem. It's time for BMW to address these issues and help their loyal customers find a solution.
