Is BMW Ignoring Safety? My iX1's Brakes Failed Twice, Putting My Family at Risk!

On November 15, 2023, my BMW iX1 xDrive30 experienced its first malfunction. While driving on December 27, 2023, the brake system failed, causing the pedal to swell and requiring significant effort to stop the car. Fortunately, there were no vehicles or pedestrians nearby, avoiding a potential accident. After pulling over and waiting for a while, the issue seemed to resolve itself. Due to my busy schedule and suspecting it might be a software issue, I did not take it to the service center immediately. However, after encountering the same problem again on January 7, 2024, I urgently took the car to the service center on January 8. The attached documents show that parts related to the braking system were replaced. Despite expressing my concerns about the safety of driving the car, especially with two children, and the risk it poses to traffic safety, the customer service representative did not approve a replacement or refund. They simply assured me the problem was fixed and I was forced to take the car back. Now, after facing the same issue again, I returned the car to the service center on February 8. Having paid $110,000, I feel like I have bought a potential grave for myself, my family, and anyone else on the road. Through this platform, I want to inform BMW officials and the public about this issue, clearly stating that BMW is responsible for this problem. As a customer, I no longer want this car. It poses a direct threat to human life due to its chronic malfunction. I demand the application of an appropriate return procedure, or at least a replacement with a gasoline vehicle, under suitable conditions. If this problem is not resolved promptly, I will share this situation on national and international platforms and initiate legal proceedings. It is evident that a product with hidden defects has been sold. I am making this known to everyone considering an electric BMW to be aware of these issues. No one should have to endure the distress and fear I have experienced. Must someone be harmed before a real solution is implemented?
