BlaBlaCar Trips Keep Getting Canceled by Unresponsive or Fake Accounts

I had used the BlaBlaCar app a few years ago, and back then I noticed that every single trip I messaged about ended up canceled. None of those trips ever actually happened — I just kept running into cancellations. About two days ago, I wanted to try the app again, and this time I messaged about three different trips, but I ran into the same situation again. None of them responded, the trips were never confirmed, and they all got canceled. I keep running into fake accounts or listings from people who never actually intend to take the trip, and this leads to both wasted time and serious frustration. I expect BlaBlaCar to identify and shut down fake accounts, and also to apply some kind of sanction or penalty mechanism for accounts that, even if not fake, keep canceling and putting people at a disadvantage. I'm requesting a clear, satisfactory explanation of how the system works in this regard, and that similar situations be prevented going forward.
