Disappointing Experience With Beymen And Alexander McQueen Bag Quality

Exactly one year ago, I purchased a white Alexander McQueen bag from Beymen, which was claimed to be made of genuine leather. The bag was kept in our wardrobe, untouched, for an entire year. After using it for the first time just a month ago, yellow discoloration started to appear. There was no contact with any cosmetic, detergent, or chemical product. When we took it to an Alexander McQueen store, they confirmed it was not due to user error, but rather that the leather had changed color. They advised us to request an exchange or refund through the store we purchased it from — Beymen — as per their brand protocol. We submitted the bag for inspection at Beymen, but both times they rejected our request, claiming it was due to user error. However, they failed to explain what exactly caused the damage or how they determined it was our fault. This is not the first issue we’ve faced — there have been several minor disappointments over time — but Beymen’s response in this case has been extremely disappointing and not what we expect from a retailer of this caliber.
