BetterMe Charged Me Monthly After I Canceled My Trial Subscription

I downloaded the BetterMe app and signed up for a trial subscription just to test it out. I canceled the trial within the allowed period and never used the app again. Despite this, I recently noticed that BetterMe has been charging me ₺98 every month without my permission.

I’m shocked that a company would continue billing a user after cancellation. I’m very careful with app subscriptions and made sure to cancel it right after the trial. This charge is not only unauthorized, but also unethical. I’ve already filed a formal complaint with the necessary consumer authorities and now I’m requesting that BetterMe immediately stop charging my card and fully refund the amounts withdrawn.

"Thank you for processing my refund. Subscription renewals should definitely continue with approval, as automatic billing is not a correct practice; money was withdrawn from my card even though I canceled. This is just my humble opinion, thank you."
