I purchased a Beko Arçelik refrigerator and used it for 5 years before it developed a gas leak. After nearly 2 months of back-and-forth and frustration, they finally approved a replacement. At the time, I was told that gas leak-related issues were covered for 10 years, even outside the standard warranty.
Now, after using the replacement fridge for exactly another 5 years, the same issue has occurred—another gas leak. And this time, they’re asking me to pay half the price of a new unit for a repair or replacement. How is this acceptable for such a serious recurring issue?
This is not a minor inconvenience—gas leaks are major failures. A reliable brand should take full responsibility, especially when the same defect happens twice in a row. I’ve never been satisfied with this product from the beginning, and now I feel completely let down by Beko’s lack of accountability.
I strongly urge Beko to honor their 10-year gas system warranty and resolve this issue without further charging me. This experience has made me regret ever choosing Beko.
