Beko's Exorbitant Repair Quote for a Minor Glass Breakage on the Fridge


My black glass Beko fridge took a hit, and the glass in the bottom freezer compartment shattered into pieces. I accidentally slid a plastic water bottle from the top, and it smacked right into the lid below. I can't believe such a minor bump completely wrecked the glass. I called the service, and they said the entire bottom lid needs replacing, demanding a whopping ₺14,000 for it. I just don't get why they can't just swap out the glass. Even if the whole lid needs changing, 14 grand is insane! It's like a joke. As a user, I'm not getting any support whatsoever.
