Barclays Bank Name Used in Crypto Tax Scam Freezing $61,800 Account

22

Even though I have a total balance of $61,800 in my Barclays Bank online banking account, I have been completely unable to make any withdrawals for nearly one month. I was told that in order to withdraw money from my account, I had to pay $7,800 in taxes, which I paid using cryptocurrency. However, after making this payment, I was completely blocked from the system and can no longer log into my account.

I tried to contact customer service but received no response. I was not provided with any documents or payment confirmation. At this point, all of the money in my account is frozen, and I am unable to perform any transactions.

I demand that Barclays Bank urgently resolve this issue, restore my access to my account, and return my funds.
