Asics Trail Scout 2 Shoes Ripped After Minimal Use

I recently bought a pair of Asics Trail Scout 2 shoes from Marlinspor for my 67-year-old mother to use for her casual walks. With only limited use, the shoes started to tear at the toes and edges within just one year of buying them. The images provided offer a clear depiction of the limited wear on the soles and the extent of the tears.

After I asked for a replacement or refund, I was told that there was no issue with the shoes and they were sent back to me. I am extremely dissatisfied with the subpar quality of these shoes and the complete absence of customer service provided by Asics.
