Asics Running Shoes Inner Lining Tears in Both Shoes After Light Daily Use
On February 12, 2026, I purchased a pair of Asics brand running shoes in size 44 from the Boyner Dynamic Cevahir store. Despite using them only under normal, everyday conditions, both the left and right shoes developed visible tears and significant deformation in the inner lining within a short period of time.
Believing the issue was not caused by any misuse on my part, I brought the shoes back to the store and requested an inspection and exchange. On June 4, 2026, I received a negative response with no solution or alternative offered whatsoever.
What makes this even more frustrating is that these are running shoes — products specifically designed and marketed to withstand intense movement and demanding conditions. Yet I never even used them for any sports activities. I wore them primarily for everyday city use around Istanbul, and both shoes developed deformation in the exact same areas. The fact that identical damage appeared in both shoes under light use strongly suggests this is a durability and manufacturing quality issue, not user error.
Experiencing this level of deterioration so quickly from a brand like Asics — widely regarded as a quality manufacturer — has been genuinely disappointing and has raised serious questions about the product's build quality.
I expect Boyner Dynamic and Asics to take a customer-first approach and resolve this issue as quickly as possible.
