On May 16, 2026, I purchased a pair of ASICS GT-2000 shoes from the Skechers store located inside Viaport Asia Mall based on the recommendation of the store employees. I specifically explained that I suffer from foot edema and was looking for a comfortable shoe suitable for my condition. During the first fitting, the shoes felt very comfortable and supportive across the entire sole of my feet. The employee also stated that the shoes were extremely comfortable, that they personally used the same model, and that it was beneficial for overpronation issues. Even though I clearly explained that I do not have an overpronation problem and only deal with swelling and edema, I was repeatedly told that this model would be the best choice for me.

I used the shoes for approximately 2 kilometers total, including immediately after leaving the store and again today. Before purchasing the shoes, I only had pain in my right foot, but after wearing these shoes, I started experiencing severe pain in both feet. My feet became significantly worse, and I am now struggling to walk even 100 meters, let alone longer distances. My swelling problem has also increased to the point where I can no longer use the shoes at all.

I still have the receipt and invoice related to the purchase. I have not yet returned to the store, but I believe I was incorrectly guided into purchasing a product that is not suitable for my feet or medical condition. I request that these shoes, which worsened my foot swelling and discomfort, be replaced with a model that is truly appropriate for my foot health and condition.
