Asics Gore-Tex Amplifoam Shoes Not Waterproof as Claimed

I purchased a pair of Asics Gore-Tex Amplifoam black outdoor shoes, expecting them to be waterproof as advertised. Last year, I didn’t use them, but on December 28, 2024, I wore them for the first time during a one-hour walk in light rain along Yeşilköy Beach. To my surprise, the front part of my feet got completely wet, soaking my socks and toes.

Having used many outdoor shoes in the past, I’ve never experienced such poor waterproof performance. I chose Gore-Tex specifically for its reputation, and this failure is deeply disappointing. I request an immediate explanation and a resolution, whether it be a replacement or refund, as these shoes clearly do not meet the promised standard.
