Yesterday, I gave my 13-year-old daughter Argivit Focus syrup for the very first time, and shortly after, she experienced a severe allergic reaction. Within about an hour of consuming just one dose, her entire face and body broke out in rashes. We spent the entire day yesterday and today in the emergency room, where she had to be treated with IV fluids and injections to stabilize her condition. Watching my child suffer from such a reaction was extremely distressing and completely unacceptable for a product marketed for children’s health.
I purchased the syrup from Su Pharmacy in Polatlı, and the barcode number on the product is 11/26. I also work in a pharmacy myself and trusted this product, which makes the situation even more frustrating. When I contacted the company, they dismissed the case by simply claiming my daughter might be allergic to vitamin C. However, my daughter takes vitamin supplements every winter and has never experienced such a reaction before, which clearly indicates there is a serious issue with this specific product.
This incident has not only caused a major health scare but also destroyed my trust in Argivit Focus. My daughter’s treatment is still ongoing, and her health condition is being closely monitored. I demand that the company issue an official explanation, conduct a thorough investigation into this batch, and provide accountability for what happened. I expect Argivit to address this issue urgently to prevent other families from experiencing such a dangerous situation.
