I had a problem with Arçelik regarding the extension of my warranty. Today, the installation team inquired about extending the warranty of the products to 7 years. Deciding to tackle it head-on, my partner and I invested in the extension service for ₺2000, with the goal of finishing it within 7 years. However, we later discovered that the warranty for all products varies. The oven's warranty extends to 7 years, while the warranty for the hob and hood extends to 6 years. I wasn't informed about this during the sale, and I discovered that we had bought an extra 4-year warranty from customer service.

When I contacted the installer to ask about this, he initially insisted that he had mentioned the 4-year additional warranty. However, after clarifying the situation, he acknowledged the misunderstanding and offered his apologies. I had no idea that the extra warranty couldn't be refunded. The service center acknowledged the situation and explained, "Due to the warranty being encoded in the barcode, it is not eligible for a refund."

If you knew about this, why didn't you mention "providing a 7-year warranty to the products" instead of saying "+4 years of warranty"? When we use the term 'products', it suggests that it encompasses a wide range of items. Here, I observe service personnel who seem to intentionally deceive customers and prioritize profit above all else. The service provider for this is Arbe Technical Service, which is located in the province of Mersin. I kindly request that my concern be taken into consideration and appropriate action be taken against the relevant company.
