I have been using my Arçelik 9102PM washing machine for just 1.5 years, and the inner surface of the drum is almost entirely deformed. Additionally, the safety lock and digital display are malfunctioning, often getting stuck and not turning off the power. I contacted Arçelik’s service team under warranty, and a technician inspected the machine. The technician confirmed the safety lock was defective and stated the drum’s condition was abnormal, promising to report the issue to the central office for resolution.
Today, I was informed by Arçelik that the technician blamed the deformation on chemical exposure, labeling it as user error, and claimed the drum is not covered under warranty. This is unacceptable, as I only use laundry detergent and avoid harmful products like fabric softeners. The safety lock will supposedly be replaced under warranty, but the drum issue remains unresolved.
I refuse to accept this faulty product. I demand a replacement for my washing machine. If my issue is not resolved, I will escalate the matter to the Consumer Court and file for compensation. A reputable brand like Arçelik should stand behind its products. I am currently forced to wash my laundry at others’ homes, which is highly inconvenient and frustrating. Please address this matter urgently!
