I ordered a product from abroad through Amazon, and everything was fine up to that point. The shipment was made by a courier company called Aramex (emphasis on 'was made'). As seen in the images, my package was received on August 12th, arrived in Istanbul on August 21st, and was supposedly sent out from Istanbul to my address on August 22nd. Since 6-7 days had passed in this process, I called Aramex customer service on August 26th to track my package, and they gave me the phone number of their Adana office. When I called the Adana office, they informed me that my package would arrive in Adana on August 27th, but since I'm in a district, Aramex would not deliver it directly, and if I didn't pick it up, it would be returned and sent again from Istanbul through one of the intermediary companies. Why am I going through such a ridiculous situation and being inconvenienced when I have provided the correct address? When I suggested that the Adana office should hand it over to an intermediary company, they said they don't have the authority and that the package would go back to Istanbul and be sent again. The package took 8-9 days to get from abroad to Istanbul, 6 days to get from Istanbul to Adana, and now it will go back to Istanbul and then come to Adana again. This process, which should have been completed in 11-12 days, including the time it took to come from abroad, is taking almost a month due to Aramex's negligence. I also reached out to Amazon during this time, and they said there's not much they can do, and that they received a similar response from Aramex, stating that there's nothing they can do either. The item I purchased isn't expensive, but it could have been much more costly. Additionally, if I hadn't called yesterday, neither the headquarters nor Adana would have known that delivery to the district was required, and I wouldn't have been informed of the situation either if I hadn't inquired. The interest and communication are zero, and there's no proper information given. I find it disappointing that Amazon works with this company.
