I purchased my iPhone 13 from MediaMarkt Mall six months ago, and it recently stopped charging. I tested the device with different chargers, but the issue persisted, and the phone has never been dropped, damaged, or exposed to liquid. Because of this, I sent it to an authorized service center on September 22 under warranty.
The service center responded by claiming “user damage” and said the back glass needed to be replaced, requesting $658 for the repair. However, my complaint is about the device not charging, and there is absolutely no user-related damage on my phone. When I contacted customer service, they repeated the same response, insisting it was user error.
I purchased the phone for $839, and encountering such a problem within only six months has caused significant inconvenience. I request that my device be repaired free of charge under warranty or replaced with a new one.
